Paper Loop Garland

  • Print the paper loop chain template actual size (100%) in color on standard 8.5″ x 11″ paper. For sturdier links, use white card-stock or a heavy-weight paper.
  • Using scissors, cut along the guidelines to separate the strips. There are two patterns: 1) blue with white stars and 2) red & white stripes. Print multiple pages for the length of garland you need. Each copy makes about 1-foot of chain.
  • Take one strip (start with either pattern) and curl it into a circle. Overlap the ends slightly and secure with glue or tape.
  • Slide a new strip through the center of the first loop, form a circle, and secure the ends as before.
  • Repeat the process, linking one strip at a time and alternating patterns until the garland reaches your desired length.

Paper Pinwheels

  • Print the pinwheel template actual size (100%) in color on standard 8.5″ x 11″ paper. For sturdier links, use white card-stock or a heavy-weight paper.
  • Using scissors, cut along the dotted line; be sure to include the cut lines that run about halfway up between each panel of the windmill.
  • Using a pushpin, poke a small hole in the center and at each corner of the design where indicated with a black dot.
  • With the printed side of the paper facing up, bend (don’t fold) each corner to the center to align all five holes.
  • Press the pushpin through the aligned holes and then through a craft stick, popsicle stick or sturdy straw.
  • Secure the back of the pin with a pencil eraser.

Flag Wavers

  • Print the flag template actual size (100%) in color on standard 8.5″ x 11″ paper. For sturdier flags, use white card-stock or a heavy-weight paper.
  • Using scissors, cut along the dotted line; be sure to include the tabs on the left side of the design.
  • Fold cutout in half where indicated and secure edges with glue or tape.
  • Wrap the tab around a craft stick, popsicle stick or sturdy straw and secure with tape.

Star Wands

  • Print the stars template actual size (100%) in color on standard 8.5″ x 11″ paper. For sturdier stars, use white card-stock or a heavy-weight paper.
  • Using scissors, cut along the edges of each star shape
  • Place one end of a craft stick, popsicle stick or sturdy straw on the back of each star.
  • Secure each star with glue or tape. Optionally, you can adhere a second star on the backside of the wand.
